The total amount of the donation was not very much. Because of our lack of knowledge of the auction system and private difficulties for the organizers during the period of the exhibition.
The exhibited works were of high quality and the presentation went very well. This epxericne was a good opportunity to consider and discuss the tendency of the artworks which were made by Japanese artists living in Europe. Despite it being the end of the year, a lot of people came to the opening. We are grateful to those who came.
On the other hand the selected artworks were simply very different; some were directly related to the earthquake, and some works were completeley unrelated.
Taking into account these reflections, we would like to continue considering different aspects of Japan as shadow performers through the field of contemporary art.
